The Lunar Operations Command (LOC)
The Moon base with three names — from LOC to 'Solar System Operation Centre' — and a population the record puts at ten thousand.
The Lunar Operations Command — the LOC of super-soldier lore — appears in the archive with its own career arc. The August 10, 2020 session gives its history in one breath: “The Lunar Operation Center (LOC)… was the old name. Now it is known as the ‘Solar System Operation Centre,’ or the ‘Galactic Operations Centre’ for the Alliance” — a renaming that tracks, in the record’s telling, the base’s promotion from a Secret Space Program outpost to an Alliance headquarters.
The numbers get updated too. Once housing “under 1,000” people, the session says it now holds “at least 10,000” — a boomtown on the far side, staffed for the era of first contact the record keeps forecasting. Around it, the sessions sketch the rest of the off-world map: jumpgate transit between Earth, Moon, Mars, and a “Jupiter Jumpgate System,” with the LOC as the hub where the chrononaut accounts and the archive’s own claims intersect.
It sits, of course, on the archive’s strangest ground: the Moon itself, which the sessions describe as no natural satellite but an artificial quantum computer. The LOC, in this record, is a base built on a machine — the administrative floor of something that was never just rock. Preserved as spoken.
