The hijacker and the teacher — the record's psychology of the ego as parasite on perception, and as instructor once understood.
The Ego Mind is the record’s psychology in miniature — a doctrine concentrated in the New Year 2021 session and echoed across the council and Bashar material.
As adversary, it is described in parasitic terms: “The ego mind hijacked that need perception, creating a structure to parasite” (January 1, 2021) — the ego as a squatter in the machinery of need, converting perception itself into feeding ground. The 2024 Bashar-adjacent session gives its social signature: a persona that must “create adversary to all level of threat to his individual ego.”
But the record declines the simple war on ego. The Andromedan Council session of September 2020 reframes it as curriculum: “By understanding this aspect of your ego, it will become a great teacher to navigate in the egoistic environment.” The teaching lands close to the record’s belief doctrine: the ego is not to be destroyed but read — a misconfigured belief structure that, once seen clearly, teaches exactly where the configuration went wrong.
