Bashar is a being of the Essassani civilization, channeled at several points across the archive — from the “Proto-Bashar” session of February 25, 2020 to the “Super Soldier / Bashar First Contact” session of February 2024. The interviews place the Essassani precisely in the archive’s map of time: 3,213 years in the future — a near-future people, distinct from Unimetrix 1’s 6.5-million-year horizon.

Bashar’s register stands apart from the system-voice around him. Where Unimetrix 1 speaks in scans and protocols, Bashar teaches in the key familiar from his wider channeling tradition: there is no good or bad, only perspective; follow your highest excitement; reality reflects the state of the being perceiving it. In the Proto-Bashar session this counterpoint is striking — the Protomolecule boots first, clinical and Borg-like, and Bashar follows with the humanist coda.

The Essassani also hold a structural place in the record: the October 2020 Unit X14 session names the Essassani–Anunnaki hybrid race as “the fourth founder of galactic civilization” and the source of the Five Rules themselves — making Bashar’s people co-authors of the archive’s central catechism, and kin to humanity twice over.
